About the project

Real time strategy game for WebGL where the player send units to protect their leader while attempting to defeat the enemy.

This project started as a prototype while practising drawing basic pixel art characters and their animations.

Altough it was paused a few times, this game was made with a self impossed time limit constraint of around 4 months.

Features

Play as one of the two factions available against an AI opponent or against another player by sharing the same keyboard.

Each faction has a unique roster of units that will be available to recruit during the game.

Gameplay

In order to win, defeat the oposing leader while protecting yours.

Controls:

  • Left click or WASD to select which unit will be send next.
  • Hover the mouse over each icon to see it's details

Each unit has it's own capabilities that make them useful in many given situations.

When a leader's hitpoints falls down to 50%, and down to 25%, it will release a super attack to clear out nearby enemies. This will give the player an oportunity to rethink the strategy and turn the battle around.
